The Phoenix Solar Reflect Protection membrane compound is specifically designed for application on waterproof roofing to complete and integrate the GENERAL SOLAR PV photovoltaic module. It is exclusively made with selected poly-alpha-olefin amorphous polymers (APAO) characterized by high adhesiveness, which allow to achieve flexibility at low temperatures equal to -35 ° C.


The Phoenix Solar Reflect Protection membrane compound is specifically designed for application on waterproof roofing to complete and integrate the GENERAL SOLAR PV photovoltaic module. It is exclusively made with selected poly-alpha-olefin amorphous polymers (APAO) characterized by high adhesiveness, which allow to achieve flexibility at low temperatures equal to -35 ° C, a value much higher than that of best SBS membranes. This feature, which allows easy product adaptability during installation, is maintained unchanged over time. Then the APAO -35° C compound is extremely resistant to UV rays action. Phoenix Solar Reflect Protection is therefore a "non-ageing" membrane, not affected by thermal ageing and providing long service life of roofing, just as required by specific intended use (photovoltaic roofing).

The reinforcement used in Phoenix Solar Reflect Protection membranes consists of a non-woven polyester fibre, spunbonded fabric, stabilized with glass, with isotropic behaviour and rot-proof. This reinforcement is defined as "composite", as the excellent mechanical properties of polyester such as tensile strength, elongation and tear strength, are added to the exceptional thermal stability properties of glass. Membranes with excellent dimensional stability ensure high performance and avoid waterproof surface shrinkage even in case of highly stressed roofing. Reinforcement with high mechanical properties - high-tensile strength, elongation at break, tear strength.
